St. John is glad to assist in continuing education. We have two scholarships available as described below.
BOTH Lutheran College and Spiritual Growth Scholarships:
1. Applicants, including current recipients, must apply or re-apply each year by March 31st for the ensuing fall term, submit their college address to the St. John church office by June 3rd and spring term GPA if reapplying. Submit fall term cumulative GPA and acknowledgment of attending spring term by Dec. 31st .
2. **Provisional GPA… student may be granted aid if GPA drops below a 3.0 by allowing a probationary period of one semester to raise their grade to the required cumulative 3.0.

Primary Scholarship Option - LUTHERAN COLLEGE
1. Applicant must hold an active membership at St. John Lutheran Church.
2. Applicant must provide verification of enrollment at a Lutheran college.
3. Applicant will attend a Lutheran college.
Secondary Scholarship Option - SPIRITUAL GROWTH
1. Applicant must hold an active membership at St. John Lutheran Church.
2. Applicant commits to Spiritual Growth opportunities at the college (Lutheran or non-Lutheran) in which they attend.
3. Involvement in campus ministry could be one or more of the spiritual growth opportunities listed below (but not limited to).
- Chapel worship, Bible studies, discipleship, etc.
- Campus Ministry activities (trips, fellowship, servant events, evangelism, etc)
- Serve in some capacity... on campus spiritual council/planning team, worship team, worship choir/band, volunteer etc.
4. Applicant will provide verification from campus ministry coordinator confirmation of involvement in spiritual growth activities.
